Butterfly Valves

Butterfly valves consist of a rotating circular plate attached to a transverse spindle and mounted inside a pipe in order to regulate or prevent flow. ETI valves are “metal to metal” without an O ring in the circumference of the butterfly plate. The admitted leakage consequent on this design is fit for purpose and, for extended maintenance, blanking plates can be fitted with oil tight gasketing to the valves.

The valve can be locked in place, with a nylon cap indicating the valve open or closed position. The valve bodies are either drop forged steel or cut from steel plate. Nominal bores range from 50 mm to 250 mm in steps of 50 mm. A small 25 mm bore model is available.
